Clive Gibson

Clive is Assistant Principal and Head of Educational Technology at Star International School Mirdif, where he also leads the school’s role as an ISP Lab School. In this capacity, Clive runs pilot programmes that use research-driven approaches to inform the implementation and adoption of technology in education.

With a strong background in innovation, curriculum development, and edtech integration, Clive has led initiatives such as paperless classrooms, bespoke innovation curricula, and the use of AI to enhance teaching and learning. A regular speaker at educational conferences, he is passionate about the ethical use of technology, the power of STEM, and fostering digital learning environments that are inclusive, engaging, and future-ready.

Clive has been a Microsoft Master Trainer, Microsoft Innovative Educator Fellow, and recipient of multiple awards including Best Use of STEAM Learning in the Classroom (GESS) and the BETT ME Game Changer Award. He has also been invited to be a judge in this years Global Edtech Awards.

Olly Lewis

Olly Lewis is Deputy Head Academic at Amity International School Abu Dhabi. He’s a multiple GESS Award winner, two-time ISC Research Edruptor, Global Edtech and GESS Awards Judge, Microsoft Fellow, MIEExpert, and Founding Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching. Olly is also the co-author of The EdTech Playbook, your definitive guide to teaching, learning and leading with technology and AI in education.  

Chrish Dias 

Chrish is a seasoned EdTech leader and serving as Director of IT for a premium IB school in Dubai. With extensive experience in founding and building premium schools across the UAE, he has played key leadership roles in the setup and operations of institutions such as Dubai Heights Academy, American Gulf School, and the American School of Dubai – Al Barsha Campus.

A PMP-certified Project Manager, he specialises in Google for Education, digital safeguarding, STEAM integration, and cross-platform EdTech solutions. His expertise spans strategical leadership , IT infrastructure & Management , video broadcasting, training, and digital strategy—making him a trusted advisor in educational innovation across the region.

Victoria James

Victoria James is a seasoned edtech professional in the Middle East, having previously managed edtech events, regional management of teacher training programs and most recently with video learning solution Edpuzzle. Victoria is co-founder of the Women in Education Network Middle East, and advocates for effective technology use for every learner, and empowered teachers in international education.

Dan Groves is a EdTech Leader for ISP and the School Leader for Educational Technology at the British School of Málaga, part of the ISP LabSchools network. With a passion for evidence-driven innovation, Dan is a key advocate for digital transformation in schools, ensuring that technology enhances progression, attainment, and engagement rather than becoming a distraction.

Samina Yasmin

An accomplished educator with over 17 years of experience with a passion for education, promoting students’ independence, learning and development. Samina has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of young learners believes that every child deserves a strong foundation in education and is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Recognised as a role model teacher by GEMS Inspection, she has received a number of awards and was nominated for the Mariamma Varkey Award for Inspirational and Outstanding Teaching. 

Chris Roche

Chris is a full time educator, held roles of responsibility as Head of Science, Head of KS4/5 Biology and KS3 Science Coordinator.  He has been involved in exam writing, exam marking for domestic and international exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel and CIE. Chris is active in educational resources such as writing exam questions, active exam marker for the IGCSE Biology, IGCSE Chemistry and IGCSE Environmental Management.

Principal examiner for IGCSE Biology/Chemistry and A level Biology for qualifications offered by Learning Resource Network newly approved exam board by Ofqual.  Chris also has 14 years of teaching experience in the classroom, holding Advanced Teacher Status, and a Bachelors of Science Degree from Kingston Upon Thames University, UK.

Lukaza graduated from Portsmouth University with a BSc in Psychology, he then proceeded to gain his PGCE and QTS. With over 5 years of teaching, Lukasz has been a classroom teacher, a leader in Science and a Head of House. In 2022, Lukasz was honored to receive the "New Teacher of the Year Award" which led me him broaden his teaching expertise by relocating to Dubai.

Laura is a teacher, mental health and well-being advocate, and co-founder of Lumii.me, an AI-powered app transforming child mental health support in schools. With over 25 years in education, Laura brings both personal and professional insight into the mental health challenges facing young people today. Her work bridges the gap between education and technology, promoting holistic, inclusive approaches to well-being in the classroom. 

Philip Mulready

Philip is a curriculum specialist and STREAM leader with a passion for robotics in primary education. Based in Abu Dhabi, he develops innovative, hands-on learning experiences as a Future Skills educator at Al Nokhba School. With a background in national curriculum design and robotics competitions like First Lego League, Philip empowers teachers to integrate robotics and technology into the classroom, fostering creativity, collaboration, and future-ready skills. 

Amira Tarek 

Amira is a KHDA-certified TOT (Trainer of Trainers) computer engineer and educator who is passionate about integrating AI, VR, and AR into classrooms. With extensive experience in conducting workshops, she has led sessions on innovative technology integration in education. Her most recent workshop was at the Sharjah Summit, where she shared insights on leveraging AI to enhance learning. She focuses on using technology to foster creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on problem-solving skills in students. 

Jessica-Leigh Arnold

Jessica-Leigh Arnold is the Lower Elementary Coordinator at ADNOC Schools Madinat Zayed. She is passionate about supporting SEN students and creating inclusive classrooms that support students. She applies technology in a positive way to support students. 

Sumair Mohammad

Sumair is a passionate Computer Science educator and innovator, with a degree from King’s College London and nearly a decade of teaching experience. Since 2015, he has inspired students through engaging, tech-driven learning, and previously served as Head of STEM at a leading London school.

He is a two-time TeenTech award winner with the 'Teacher of the Year' award the esteemed 'Platinum Teacher of the Year' award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to education. Beyond the classroom, Sumair is the founder of a software development company specialising in Augmented Reality mobile applications, blending creativity and technology to bring digital ideas to life.
